House Study; Brigitte’s

Brigitte is the mother in law of a beautiful family I have house and dog sat for for years. Their home has become like a second home for me and I am so very grateful for the sacred space it has provided. When I am there I am often visited by Brigitte who lives right up the street. Either on her early morning walk or afternoon stroll she will pop in and say hello just to check in. After losing my own grandmother this past year it is always extra sweet to spend a moment with her to chat and connect. She is a yogi, an artist, a nature lover, and great company. One day she had me over for lunch and it was my first time ever stepping into her home. I was amazed. Her style immediately captivated me, her tiny trinkets organized in perfect fashion, stacked books on travel & art, distinct furniture and decor that were layered with fascinating stories. I was wide eyed and smiling as she took me through her home stopping every once in a while to share a story about a specific item or photograph. The afternoon filled up my cup so much and she sent me home with a book she recommended I read. She is such a gem and I am so lucky to have had a wonderful moment with her in her beautiful home on the hill. Thank you sweet Brigitte.
